The Allamakee County Historical Society in Waukon, Iowa, is open during the summer, featuring a museum of local memorabilia, copies of historic area newspapers and more.
A Big thank you to J. F. Brennan, La Crosse Wisconsin and Friends of the Lansing Library for the grant to digitally archive the newspapers from Lansing 1863 through 2003. The John Dunlevy Family and Friends of the Library sponsored the next section of archived newspapers in honor of the three generations of the Dunlevy Family that published the journal.
